Under the patronage of the dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, the vice-dean for scientific research, Dr. Ali Al-Saawi, vice-deans and head so departments, the college of science and humanities in Ghat held the Dean's Award Ceremony for Scientific Research.
The ceremony began with an introduction about the award given by the vice-dean for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Osama Al-Tayyar, followed by a speech by the dean who highlighted the importance of scientific research, thanking the rector, Prof. Al-Mizil, and the vice-rector, Prof. Al-Rumaih, for the support and harnessing the potentials. The dean also congratulated the award winners and thanked all colleagues participating in the award.
The dean of scientific research delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of scientific research and commended the college's excellence in scientific research.
The department of computer science won the award and was handed to the head, Dr. Ali Al-Hajras. In the category of best researcher, Dr. Faisal Nafae won first place, Dr. Hana Saeed won second place and Dr. Jihan Al-Majdoby won third place.
