The Center for Publishing and Translation participates in the Fifth Scientific Journals Forum

The Center for Publishing and Translation, MU, under the Vice Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, participated in the Fifth Scientific Journals Forum, hosted by King Saud University under the theme “Innovation and Impact in Scholarly Publishing: New Horizons.”

The forum aims to explore recent developments in scientific research through intensive workshops and panel discussions featuring leading international experts in the field. The event highlighted the latest trends in research submission and strategies for enhancing the quality and impact of scientific publications, with a focus on developing effective research strategies and improving research efficiency.

The forum also featured an accompanying exhibition showcasing best practices in academic publishing, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and exposure to recent innovations in journal management. During the event, representatives from Springer Nature visited the Center for Publishing and Translation to discuss potential collaboration opportunities aimed at strengthening the international standing of the university’s journals within major indexing databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.

The center was visited by a delegation from Dar Al-Manzomah, a leading publisher of Arabic-language academic journals, to explore cooperation in supporting and disseminating Arabic scholarly publications.

These engagements provided an opportunity to highlight Majmaah University’s efforts to achieve high citation rates and to present the mechanisms used for indexing and citation of its journals.
