In conjunction with World Tourism Day on September 23, 2023, and at the request of the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, the Social Responsibility Committee published in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Observatory, an awareness file for the staff about the fifteenth goal of the sustainable development goals (life on land), as part of its plan for this year.
The challenge facing our lives and the future of coming generations was explained as well as the impact of wrong practices on the environment and people. The Kingdom’s efforts were also highlighted locally and globally through a group of initiatives and programs.
This publication aims to highlight the importance of preserving the environment, avoiding wrong practices, and sensing the individual’s role in preserving the environment, prior to the start of the winter tourism season.
