The university, represented by the Publishing and Translation Center of the University Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, participated in the 2023 Riyadh International Book Fair, held during the period from September 28 to October 7, through a pavilion during which the scientific production of university faculty members and published and peer-reviewed research in university-affiliated journals was displayed and sold. This interaction comes from the university’s belief in its role in participating in highlighting the role of the Kingdom and its institutions in cognitive and cultural growth, as the exhibition is held with the participation of more than 1,800 publishing houses from 32 countries and various inspiring cultural activities, in addition to seminars that host a group of writers and writers, which contribute to promoting the culture of reading. And its development.
For his part, the supervisor of the Publishing and Translation Center, Dr. Ali bin Fahd Al-Dakhil, explained that since the approval of the university president to participate in this exhibition, all relevant parties are working on the necessary arrangements with the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, with a pavilion containing its most prominent scientific productions in various fields. Sciences and Knowledge, out of its keenness to be present in the various cultural forums through which the Center works to represent the university in a way that befits its status, and in a way that meets the desires and requirements of the visitors and audiences of the university’s pavilion from various segments of society.
