Students of the Chemistry Department visit the Health and Basic Colleges Research Center

The Chemistry Department at the College of Science -female campus- visited the Health and Basic Colleges Research Center at the Vice-Rector's Office for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The students were received by the head of the center, Dr. Nayef Al-Rashidi and were briefed about the various research laboratories at the center including the biological tissue laboratory, the immunology laboratory, the biochemistry laboratory, and the health laboratory. The research services and experiments that the center provides to all university employees, faculty members and students were explained including the protein analysis and characterization, DNA research, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and genetic analysis.
