The vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Ahmed al-Rumaih, welcomed in his office members of the Technical Committee for Automating MU’s Council Procedures.
The committee included supervisors of the vice-rector’s office, Mr. Tawfiq al-Mudayhim, Mr. Ali al-Shaya’a and Mr. Majed al-Manea who presented the proposed university’s council system for automation.
Mr. al-Manea explained the mechanism of the system as the date of meetings will be announced on the e-portal. Topics to be addressed in the council will be received, reviewed, and approved via the system by the secretariat of the council. Members of the council can check the agenda of a meeting through the system which will be saved and archived.
Dr. al-Rumaih, vice-rector, extended his thanks to everyone for transforming the council’s agenda to be electronic in line with the university’s pursuit to improve its services and systems.
