The Student Innovation Center at the Office of the Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research announced the opening of applying for the 5th edition of MU Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (1440) for all faculty members and students at Majmaah University.
The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya'a commented on the role of the University in the development and creativity of its projects and student ideas in line with the 2020 Saudi Transformation Program which aims to promote national competitiveness in terms of science and research.
Head of Student Innovation Center, Dr. Saied Banawwas explained that this award is part of the University endeavor to develop business and creativity, contribute to building a knowledge society in all stages of education, as well as an attempt to reveal the distinctive and creative efforts of students.
The Award aims at activating communication and integration between the relevant departments which have programs that need to be developed and be availed both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Saied pointed out the three categories of the Award:
1. Innovation Award
2. Creative Entrepreneur
3. Creative Graduation Projects
