The University Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research is pleased to announce that applying for funded program for graduate students at King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology has started from 16/04/2018 and will be closed by 15/05/2018.
This program is a strategic program and is expected to develop academic and research skills of graduate students in the Kingdom.
The objective of this program is to carry out original research aimed at meeting the requirements of a master's degree or doctorate in higher education institutions within the Kingdom in addition to developing research capacity to improve research environment and achieve the Kingdom's vision in the knowledge society and the knowledge-based economy.
King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology has set some indicators and objectives which are expected to be met with this program and they are :
• Encouraging outstanding graduate students to conduct original research in the various fields of science according to the knowledge of modern scientific world
• Developing academic skills to elevate the kingdom status as a pioneer in science, technology and innovation
• Supporting modern scientific and technological discoveries and playing a role in establishing the necessary foundation for the knowledge society and the knowledge-based economy
• Enhancing the culture of joint research among graduate students in universities, government and private sectors
