The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya'a, had a meeting with the editors of the academic journals of the University, including the Journal of Human and Administrative Sciences, the Journal of Health Sciences, the Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
The meeting addressed the importance of the role of journals in enriching and developing research at the University.
Then he was briefed on the reports submitted by the editors-in-chief on the number of research papers submitted to the journal and the preparation of the new issues.
The Vice-Rector stressed the need to select qualified examiners who are able to sharpen the researchers' skills via their rigorous feedback and corrections.
“The indicators stated in the reports encourage all the faculty members to work hard towards achieving the university objectives", Prof. Mohamed pointed out.
At the end of the meeting, the Vice Rector appreciated the efforts of the members of the editorial board of each journal.
