The Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted – in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Preparatory Year – an IELTS Preparation Course for Lecturers and Teaching-Assistants.
Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, said that IELTS test is deemed necessary for students who are interested in studying an undergraduate or postgraduate program at universities where medium of instruction is English.
The preparation course is designed to introduce learners to test procedure and format, learn useful test-taking strategies and skills for the IELTS Academic tests, and develop your English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
Prof. Al-Shaya’a reported that MU Rector’s directives invariably assert the necessity of meeting the needs of faculty members and teaching-assistants to help them in developing their skills.
