The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya'a, visited the College of Business Administration where he was welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Waleed Al-Bisher.
During the visit, the Vice Rector stressed his strong interest to support the College for its graduates are highly demanded by the labor market, particularly the private sector.
The statistics of the college in terms of recruitment, promotions, scholarships, and research publications of faculty members over the last 4 years were discussed.
In a meeting with faculty members, Prof. Al-Shaya'a encouraged them to participate actively in research publishing, an important factor for the improvement of any university's world ranking.
In his talk about graduate programs, Prof. Mohammed noted the College is attractive for graduate students, referring to the fact that the graduate student has the opportunity to benefit from the awards of the University regarding research and academic excellence.
“The College of Business Administration must be a leader in this field, especially entrepreneurship,” he said.
The Vice Rector then answered the faculty queries with regard to academic research participation and publishing.
Then the College leaders and meeting participants thanked him for his visit and ongoing support.
