In concurrence with the world day of Arabic language which will be in 18/12/2013, the Arabic Language Dept. held a ceremony to celebrate the Arabic language. The ceremony which lasted for one hour and a half included a speech delivered by Dr. Raja’a Yousif Shaeen about the features of Arabic language as well as its importance.
The ceremony also included a debate between the dialect and standard Arabic and a play. The activities of the first semester is concluded with this one. Thanks and appreciation are expressed to the Deanship of Student Affairs and the college students and staff for their invaluable and continuous efforts. Thanks are also expressed to the Students Activities Unit for coordinating and organizing the activities plan in a way that match with the strategic plan.
