Al-Khalida Program and the Speakers Corner Platform Within the activities undertaken in the college, the college celebrated the Students’ Activites Unit at the female Arabic department (Al-Khalida) on Wednesday, 23/06/1435 AH. Activities were held on at the campus of the college where the program was initiated by a word on the immortal Arabic presented by the Head of the Arabic department, Professor Maha Al-Lifan wherein she talked about the magnitude of the Arabic language. Besides, she emphasized that one has not to talk the Arabic language but also it is imperative to understand its details and its intricacies a true understanding. Then, she underlined the effect of understanding the Arabic Language in grasping religion and Quran and that those who practice the Arabic language were honored and revered. The program, indeed, included competitions in which many female students had participated. This activity had synchronized the opening of the Speakers Corner which is an open platform in the college hall for free talk in various meaningful topics which enrich the female students’ cognitive aspects. During the opening of the platform, valuable financial award was given to the first speaker among female students. The award went to the student, Noura Al-Itibi from the English Department.
