The event was sponsored by the Dean Dr. Tariq ibn Suleiman Albahlal and the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs Dr. Omar bin Salem Al Saidi. The main focus of the workshop was an assessment of curricula which were discussed through a number of topics, including:

1- Studying the curricula taught, and their suitability to each department separately.
2 Courses descriptions through the two models; the first made of four pages, and the second which is accredited by the National Accreditation Committee.
3 - The compatibility of teaching convenient hours with the courses taught.
4 - Discussing the rationale and recommendations of each department in relation with its own participation in the workshop.

All faculty members, including all heads, coordinators, and supervisors of departments and from the two sections- male and female- participated in the workshop; a discussion between them took place through video conferencing. The outcome of this workshop was a series of scientific and academic recommendations which will be sent to their respective academic sections within the university system

At the end of this scientific workshop, all participants expressed their satisfaction and thanked the Deanship and Vice-Deanship of the college that will not spare any effort in organizing a number of future meetings that aim at adopting a development project of the triangular educational process characterized by: a faculty member with special expertise, the preparation of a course description with a clear vision and clear purpose that is suitable to the policy of each department, a student who is well guided from an academic and informative stand point in order to explore the kind of questions he would have on the basis of which he would receive the right orientation to the right department.

This discussion panels were organized in a way that members of the same department were seated at a table so that they would have a unified opinion regarding their respective recommendations. The rationale of this workshop was reflected in the following commemorative photos
