A delegation from the College English Department Students visiting the British Institute A delegation from the English Department in the College visited the British Institute on Wednesday 18/05/1435 AH, after coordination between English Department and the British Institute. Students were briefed on the services and the sessions provided by the institute to contribute in raising the Student’s linguistic level. The visit was as follows: At Ten o’clock, students were greeted by the British Institute, and the first section of the program was for welcoming and a brief outline of what the institute provides. The duration of the first part was ten minutes. Then, it was followed by the section of learning the English language provided by both David Huseylana and Zeina Bowie. During this section, students were introduced to the possible means to learn the English language outside the scope of the university. Indeed, there was a great interaction among students during this section since it had significantly triggered their interests. Subsequently, a presentation for the education in the United Kingdom , the universities, the courses, and the subjects that students could attend as well as the mechanism for introducing a student to one of the institutes or universities in the United States of America. Furthermore, there was a break and a banquet provided by the British institute for the department’s students. After the break, the tests provided by the British Embassy were displayed by the Examination Director in the British Institute-Peugeot Kapanat. Then, Coden Roberts had showed the English language courses which are provided by the institute. Finally, David Huseylana took the students to one of the Institute classrooms and lectured them using the lecturing method used in the Institute. And therefore, all sections of the visit were concluded
