Integration in the Academic Environment

As part of the activities of the Community Service and Continuing Education Unit that aim to maximize benefits from the available potentials to make the most of student learning, the unit held a meeting between freshmen and senior students to motivate and encourage new students to integrate more in the university environment. In fact, Dr. Abdulaziz Alhamdan met with the freshmen and seniors on Wednesday 22/1/1437 in the ceremonies hall. Mr Alhamdan explained the concept of integration in the university environment, its impact on the students’ achievement, and the acquisition of leadership and social skills as well as raising the awareness towards social work, particularly towards freshmen. Central to the meeting was the importance of direct communication between freshmen and graduating students to benefit from their experiences in terms of legal issues, university instructions and systems and learning and academic issues. Freshmen commended on this meeting and a channel of communication was agreed upon to be set in the future.
