Program entitled "Contemporary Challenges of Generation"

The Intellectual Awareness Unit, in cooperation with the Community Service Unit and a number of female students, organized a program entitled "Contemporary Challenges of Generation" on Sunday, 1/7/1439 AH at the College Theater.
The program was presented by Dr. Fowz Bint Abdul Latif Kurdi, - Assistant Professor, Department of Islamic Studies, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. The program aims to keep Muslim youths immuned against the obstacles and problems facing them in their religion and intellect.
The program began with the Holy Quran, after which Dr. Fawz spoke about the need to root out our religious identity and spread it as an Islamic culture and about the youth as they are the hope and future of our nation. So we have to prepare them well to carry the responsibility of the nation.
Dr. Fawz mentioned the main challenges facing our youth in the current era, including:
• The absence of Islamic identity as well as religious, cultural and political awareness.
• The dangers of digital world.
At the end of her talk, she mentioned the sources and references that can be used to protect ourselves from the obstacles and heresies that confront us in our time.
