A Training Course on “Strategies of Time Management and Its Impact on Student Achievement”

The Student Support Unit at the Vice-Dean’s Office for Educational Affairs, held in cooperation with the Training Unit at the Vice-Dean’s Office for Quality and Development, a training course entitled “Strategies of Time Management and Its Impact on Student Achievement”. The course was presented by Dr. Jamal Halawah from Business Administration Department who explained the concept of time and its features and importance in student’s life. He highlighted many strategies of time management such as setting goals, scheduling tasks, prioritizing and avoiding procrastination. The goals of time management were also mentioned by Dr. Halawah such as achieving balance, punctuality and confidence. The underlying aim of this course is to reduce students’ pressure by creating more time for study.
