Workshop on 'Learning Outcomes Evaluation' Held in Deanship of Academic Affairs

The Deanship of Academic Affairs in the college held on Tuesday 28.01.1437 AH. a workshop titled "Evaluation of the College Programs Learning Outcomes ", targeting the college's faculty members. During the workshop, Dr. Yousef Al Mahwus, the vice dean for academic affairs, talked about the importance and areas of learning outcomes in addition to improving these outcomes to meet the needs of the labor market, adding that the student is the main focus of the educational process. Dr. Al Mahwus also stressed the necessity to set rigorous standards for achieving good educational outcomes. Then, Dr. Essam Al Badr, the head of the Learning Outcomes Committee in college, presented the learning outcomes assessment system: learning outcomes and quality assurance processes; determining the learning outcomes of programs and courses and their assessment tools; the Evaluation Matrix for a targeted course learning outcomes; using the programmatic context forms / adopting the developmental project qualifying for assessing learning outcomes.
