The Community Service Unit and the Relations and Documentation Unit, held in cooperation with the Primary Health Care Center in Al Nahda, Hawtat Sudair, the seasonal influenza vaccination and diabetes screening initiative in conjunction with World Diabetes Day, on Wednesday. The event was held in the presence of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the College's Council. Dr. Omar Al-Omar and the head of the health center in Sudair, Mr. Saad Al-Mazrou.
The initiative featured a booth for diabetes screening, and educating about the risk and impact of its possible complications, and the importance of early detection of diabetes. A section for vaccination was held highlighting the importance in reducing the risk of severe complications of influenza infection.
