The Community Service and Continuing Education Unit, organized in cooperation with the Business Administration Department at female campus, a workshop entitled “Green Human Resources and the Institution’s Social Responsibility,” on Thursday at the Holy Quran Memorization Schools Complex for Girls in Hawtat Sudair.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Sanaa Dawoud, an Associate Professor of Business Administration, and Dr. Maryam Adam, an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance, and addressed the concept and importance of green human resources, the concept of social responsibility, and the basic issues of green human resources represented in competitive advantage, reducing costs, and preserving employees.
The workshop also explained how to analyze and design a green job and social responsibility in Islam as well as its types and importance to the state, the individual and society. The positive aspects of responsibility were also highlighted including promoting sustainable development, achieving social justice, attracting talent and talented employees, and promoting innovation and excellence.
Green employee behavior was also explained, the challenges of implementing green human resources functions, types of social responsibility, and steps for implementing requirements of Social Responsibility.
