- The Student Support Unit organized in collaboration with the Training Unit in the college a training session for faculty entitled "effective meeting management." Dr. Jalel AL Seddik the Unit chair conducted the workshop on Tuesday 13/6/1437 in the ceremonies hall. Dr. Adel bin Abdurrahman AL Alyan, the college vice dean for student affairs, Mr. Haitham AL Majli from the Islamic Studies Department and some faculty from different departments attended the training which dealt with the following topics: defining meetings, the importance of meetings, the role of meeting members, meeting categories, forces affecting meetings, features of ineffective meetings, and dealing with special cases in meetings. A lengthy discussion took place between the audience and the trainer which resulted in a huge benefit for the attending faculty.
